In addressing the recent crash that occurred on our site earlier today after the upgrade we carried out over the weekend. We understand this may have caused concern, but rest assured, this is part of our ongoing efforts to enhance your experience on our platform.
What Caused the Crash?
The crash occurred due to increased traffic and our continued efforts to improve system efficiency. As we consistently update our platform to serve you better, occasional technical hiccups like this may arise. However, we are working tirelessly to ensure the platform is up and running smoothly in no time.
Key Updates We’ve Implemented:
– Small Letters for Registration: Moving forward, all new registrations, including email addresses, names, and addresses, should be entered in lowercase letters. This is to standardize and optimize our data management system.
– Mandatory Fields: We’ve made name, address, and phone number compulsory when adding your device to our platform. This update is crucial as we prepare to migrate to a new server. Collecting this data now will allow us to seamlessly move user information to our new system.
– Proof of Purchase Upload (Optional): While uploading proof of purchase for your devices is optional, we highly recommend it. This measure helps us prevent stolen devices from being added to our platform. For users without proof of purchase, alternative verification measures will be in place.
– Blog Upgrade: We’ve revamped the blog section of our site to bring you the latest tech trends and news. Stay informed with updates on all things technology!
Exciting Upcoming Updates:
– Affiliate Income Program: By the end of the week, we’ll be launching an update that enables anyone interested in joining our Affiliate Program to register and start earning. More details will be provided soon.
– Vendor Gift Card Program: Get ready! We are rolling out a 30-day free warranty gift card program for all items purchased from participating vendors, both online and offline. This will apply to vendors in various locations across Nigeria.
